Why We Built This Site
In Comal County, felony files, misdemeanor records, JP traffic matters, and city citations sit with different record holders. Start with the court shown on the notice. Check the case path first. The Sheriff's Warrants and Civil Section can route county questions, while clerk offices keep filed case material and city or JP courts answer their own citation questions. This privately operated reference gathers official routes and explains the limits of online results. It cannot check, change, or resolve a court record for you.
The purpose here is to make those differences easier to follow. Official phone numbers, request steps, and local limits are presented together so a reader can ask the record holder the right question.
What You Will Find Here
- Check routes: how to use the county case search, Sheriff warrant line, clerk records, and city or JP court contacts.
- Warrant types: local arrest, bench, capias, and traffic processes, with the court that may control them.
- Active-list limits: why the Crime Stoppers Most Wanted program is not a complete warrant database.
- Resolution steps: what to ask about a reset, payment, appearance, bond, or motion to recall.
- City procedures: New Braunfels, Schertz, Selma, Fair Oaks Ranch, and Bulverde court-specific information.
What We Cannot Do
Comal County Warrant Records is privately operated and is not a county office, court, sheriff's department, or state agency. We cannot run an official warrant check, change a court record, take a payment, arrange surrender, file a motion, or provide legal advice. We also cannot promise that each phone number, fee, or city procedure remains current.
- Only the issuing court can decide whether to recall or quash its warrant.
- The Sheriff or other serving agency confirms its own operational record.
- A reader must contact the clerk or court for case-specific deadlines and amounts.
- Do not use a warrant lookup for a purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Information may be incomplete, delayed, or held by a different office.
For an official status, contact the Comal County Sheriff's Warrant Section or the court that issued the process.
Search Partners
Some finder boxes on the content pages are operated by outside search providers. A provider may set its own fees, terms, and handling of any information submitted. Those services are not official Comal County warrant checks. Review a provider's own terms before using it, and confirm an important result with the issuing court or Sheriff.
Sponsored listings may support operation of this private reference. They do not affect how a court keeps a record or how a warrant is resolved.
